A refined and tasteful duo like a chocolate praline: the spicy voice of Moira Albertalli, singer and dancer with a thousand flavors, melts with the accordion of Sara Calvanelli, an aromatic and imaginative musician, to explore the exquisite world of the chanson française, of every age and genre.

Les Pralines

Moira Albertalli - voice

Sara Calvanelli - accordion

In some pâtisserie of the world, among cupcakes and delicious teas, the idea was born to create a refined and tasteful duo like a chocolate praline.

A repertoire that relishes the chanson française, the german cabaret and theater scene, and the popular music. Words and notes about spirited, tormented, sentimental characters that sing to love and life as an innocent counterpoint to a brutal but also romantic world.

Elegant and sizzling you can enjoy Les Parlines in the most classic environments, personal events, and at the pub around the corner. Chanson is not only what you listen to, but also what you see so you will appreciate the live performance of these two women interpreting songs with the voice and the accordion of course, but also with their eyes, hands, gesture, and breath.

In 2010 she meets the Compagnia Finzi Pasca that allowed her to perform on the most prestigious stages of the world including Moscow, London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney, the BAM in New York, the Olympic Stadium in Sochi 2014, as well as the Teatro San Carlo of Naples.

SARA CALVANELLI

Ranging from ancient songs to experimentation, from free improvisation to writing for theater, dance and image, Sara has always sought a personal and feminine accordion dimension.

She has made concerts and performances in over ten countries around the world and numerous collaborations with international artists - without distinction of genre, provenance and language - convinced that music is one of the most powerful tools for realization and meeting.

Her debut album Onironautiche (2017, Amadeus Arte) revolves around the exploration - also through the singing - of the aquatic and lunar side of an instrument mainly known for its virtuosic spectacles, but which holds its essence in breath and ancestral roots.

Graduated at the Conservatory Verdi in Milan, she studied piano, composition and singing with the accordion study.
